For the nothing it is worth, I side with those who define knowledge as sufficiently verified information, where information is any received input (consciously or not). "Sufficiently" has different contexts. For an individual it is simply choosing to accept information as sufficiently verified. For engineering buildings, etc. we depend on some more rigorous standard of sufficiency.
