For sure, ‘progressives’ are stuck in the’60’s. At this point ‘conservative’ only means being anti-anything ‘liberals’ say, think, feel, or believe. As for there being so much information, I think it can be intimidating. Who has the time to truly understand all the options? People use ideology (and theology) as filters, which makes it all the more difficult for really new ideas to emerge.
