First of all, thank you for that succinct summary an idea that is worthy of discussion. Secondly, I apologize if I have already contacted you regarding what follows.

I am not against a UBI, but I do have a better idea: an “allotted income” that would be created as needed, so it would be free. The total of that income would for the supply of money (as currency) for the economy. It can be thought of a a kind of permanent QE for the masses.

This is not something I cam up with this morning. I have answered all the questions it raises. If it matters, I do have an M.A. in economics.
