First of all, thank you for such an interesting article on such a vitally important topic.

I do think there are times when the only two options are "traditional revolution" and "total revolution." Absent the former, the latter becomes inevitable.

I think we are at such a point in history. To save Liberal society we must have a revolution. As suggested in this article, to be a positive force a revolution must involve an advance in justice.

My studies have taught me that to save Liberal society we must recognize as the ethic of justice mutual respect (of a basic kind: taking one another into account). There is respect that must be earned, but there is respect that every human being is due merely by virtue of being human.

All deserve to be taken into account by all. That sounds vague, but it is actually most concrete in its implications for individuals and societies.
