I think people of all ages need to realize that what we need most of all is an advance in our understanding of justice. The inadequacy of Liberal justice as we know it is being exposed. The latent tension between liberty and equality is becoming a rift that is making effective governance impossible.

I am convinced that those inadequacies and tensions can be resolved by a better understanding of Liberal justice. For that, "Equality Is All We Need" (here in Medium).

Equality implies a requirement of mutual respect (of a basic kind--taking one another into account). A society governed by mutual respect would maximize liberty as a practical matter, reinforce democracy, and transform the outcomes for society of the existing economy.
