Both sides have committed atrocities and crimes against humanity. Israel is in a position to commit such horrors on a larger scale. There is nothing about Hamas or Hezbollah--or the Houthis or Iran--to suggest that they would refrain from inflicting the same level of destruction and suffering on all Israelis if they had the power to do so.
