I have nothing against Bitcoin or any other ‘cryptocurrency’ except when such is touted as being some kind of ‘solution’. Since (except for ‘mining’ it) ‘fiat money’ is needed to acquire it, it simply can’t the solution to any problem associated with the current monetary system. That system is a problem, but the solution is to change how money (as currency) is supplied to the economy.
