As was pointed out in that essay, ideologies are as prone to dogma as any theology is. That’s because they, too, are based on beliefs (assertions that are not amenable to being validated or invalidated within material existence as we humans experience it).

Beliefs divide people. Our rational capacity is our only commonality that can be a source for an ethic that can (therefore) govern human relations justly.

I have developed a strictly rational ethic. I call it and its implications for human relations “real justice.” It is summarized in a “5 min read” here in Medium.
