As I wrote, I am all for a market-based economy, but we do have to recognize that leaving markets to themselves is not the answer to every problem a society faces. To assert that problems are 'the government's fault' because it is unable to solve problems created by the economic system is of no help. It is nothing but ideological perfidy for blaming government to be more important than actually solving those problems is. Even worse, to do that is to substitute ideological belief for rational thought--as I wrote, in matters pertaining to this world a dangerously riskly thing to do.
