As I see it, those of us who give a damn can throw up our hands or we can continue to fight the good fight. I choose the latter. We need a revolutionary systemic change, but one that does not throw out the baby of justice (that is focused on the worth of the individual) with the dirty bathwater of a self-centered societal paradigm.
