As always, you provide a very interesting take on spiritual matters. I focus on Jesus’s saying that one can’t serve two masters. As I understand it, one must choose between Jesus and ideology: to advocate for any ideology because it is consistent with the teachings of Jesus is to be on the wrong path.

You quoted Paul but left out Jesus’s “Render unto Cesar… .” He was utterly apolitical for a reason: for him it’s all about people as individuals, and nothing about institutions. Transforming individuals ‘from within’ is the only way to overcome all evil, therefore working for that end is the only approach for a true follower of Jesus to take — whatever institutional arrangements might exist and even though in anyone’s lifetime that approach cannot be successful in achieving its final aim. The promise of the afterlife can provide succor.
