A agree, but I think that at this point what is required is for us to rethink Liberal justice. For one thing, we need a better understanding as a society of what democracy is. ["Equality Is All We Need" here in Medium] Secondly, we could extend democracy to the economy, via a "democratically distributed income."

That sounds way more radical than it is. At bottom, it is 'only' a different way of supplying the economy with money. But it would be revolutionary: it would transform the outcomes for society of the existing economy. One thing is certain: ignoring new ideas accomplishes nothing.
